Research
We are actively working to improve and expand our educational programming and delivery methods at 28ish. To support this work, we are excited to launch several new research initiatives:
Menopause as a Public Health Priority: Multi-Dimensional Analysis of Biological, Psychological, and Social Health
Accepted to the Emory University Journal of Public Health
We aim to examine the social, emotional, and behavioral impacts of perimenopause and menopause by reviewing existing research and integrating emerging findings directly into our educational programming. We hope that this nuanced understanding guides individuals through the major life transition of perimenopause with confidence and wisdom.
A Landscape Review of Evidence-Based, Comprehensive Menstrual Cycle Curriculums and Educational Programs for Adolescents
Preprint Available: doi.org/10.20944/preprints202608.1720.v1
We are refining our curriculum delivery to ensure all programming is strictly evidence-based. This includes analyzing existing educational models, learning from successful community interventions, and engaging directly with our workshop attendees to gather actionable feedback. We are taking our first steps in improving adolescent cycle health education and supporting the menarche transition by equipping young people with evidence-based cycle health literacy, dispelling stigma around discussing their cycles, and fostering open dialogue across school and community environments.
